Who we support

Paving the Way to a Better Tomorrow. Today

Brun Bear Foundation Grants of up to £1,000 are available to help fund positive contributions that meet the charitable objectives of the Foundation.

We are focused on three areas: medical research into infant and childhood illnesses; animal welfare with particular emphasis on bears; and community projects in the London Boroughs of Bromley and Lewisham.

Here are some of the great causes we have been supporting...

The Oscar Campaign

The OSCAR campaign (The Ocean and Shipping Community Advancing Children's Health and Research) is an innovative fundraising partnership uniting the international shipping community to raise funds at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) and the UCL Great Ormond Street Institute of Child Health (ICH).

The Brun Bear Foundation is helping fund research into better, kinder and more effective treatments for childhood leukaemia and immune diseases for patients at Great Ormond Street Hospital and all over the world through the Oscar Campaign.

The Big Hearts Foundation

A charity that saves and rehabilitates bears in Russia's Far East

The Brun Bear Foundation presented a £250 cheque to The Big Hearts Foundation from books sales of our children's book The Adventures of Brunhilfer and Brunfin: The Flood!

The Community Fit Bus

The Community Fit Bus for Bromley and Lewisham

The Brun Bear Foundation is financially supporting the Community Fit Bus. This initiative will increase the activity levels of people in Lewisham and Bromley who for reasons of disability or illness, age or infirmity, have limited / no access to the mental and physical benefits of exercise that most of us enjoy. In other words this project will transform local lives.

Teddy's Wish

Teddy’s Wish funds research into the causes, incidence and effects of sudden infant death syndrome (sids), neonatal death and stillbirth

The Brun Bear Foundation is humbled by the fantastic work that this organisation does and is proud to support its vital activities
