How does The Brun Bear Foundation decide where the money goes?

The Brun Bear Foundation was established to help support medical research, community projects in Lewisham and Bromley and animal welfare projects, with special emphasis on bears. Our trustees convene regularly to discuss projects and to authorise distributions. We are transparent in our dealings and publicise our donations on the web. Often our activities are publicised in the media too.

How many salaried staff do you have?

None. Zero. Not one. We have a Board of Trustees and a wonderful and growing base of supporters and volunteers. Together we deliver our programmes and our objectives.
