The Brun Bear Foundation uses the power of community to build better futures locally, globally and in the natural world.
This week we were delighted to present a cheque of ₱100,000 to Noah Ordoño of the OSM-AD Foundation at an OSM Thome evening reception in Manila organised by Anna Marie Soliman and her talented team.
The OSM–Adonis Donato Foundation is OSM Thome's corporate social responsibility arm, focusing on community development, education and sustainable social impact projects.
Its many programmes include but are not limited to:
• Health education delivered through the OSM Thome Seafarers Family Club.
• Online health consultations for seafarer children.
• Community outreach such as health talks and feeding programmes for malnourished street children in Manila, including parental education.
The cheque was presented at a special reception themed "A Night Of Appreciation" which featured testimonials from OSM AD Foundation scholars sharing how the foundation had changed their lives, a high energy performance by OSM Thome cadets, and a foundation video highlighting the organisation's social impact work.
Senior executives including Mailyn Borillo, Julia Anastasiou, Tommy Olofsen and Yngve Jonassen delivered addresses on the company’s global journey and commitment to purpose-driven partnerships.
Dinner and extended networking opportunities followed. The buffet menu featured dishes from Mealtimes With My Maritime Friends, including Riviera Maritime Media Ltd's Mirella Charter's Tiramisu and Danfoss's Teemu Heikkilä's Lihapullat or Finnish meatballs!

Our donation was made possible thanks to the generosity of our supporters, including those who have purchased Mealtimes With My Maritime Friends and attended our popular annual Maritime & Offshore Community Golf Day.
Thank you all. Thank you to Noah Ordoño and the OSM-AD Foundation for the vital work you do.... And please stay tuned for more news and announcements...
